Hi! I’m Kayla!
“I’m Kayla, a sex-positive, queer-identifying, polyamorous human that is also a licensed therapist! I use evidence-based tools (with real science!) to help adults live and love in ways that feel real and right for them. I am a kink educator and practitioner, seeking certification as a sex therapist, and experience experienced with neurodiversity and navigating different learning and communication styles. It’s great to meet you!
Love comes in at least as many forms as there are individuals, but not all ways of feeling safe and valued are represented in mainstream culture and media. There is no official rulebook for finding and navigating the relationships with ourselves and others, and our family of origin and past relationships may not have provided the best examples to model. These limitations can leave us feeling lonely and alone, even as we sit beside our partners and friends. We fear we are unloveable, because the ways we have been taught just don’t feel like love.
For all the friends and folks out there looking to love and be loved, I hope to help untangle the complications of relationships with ourselves and our loved ones.
If you are seeking to live more authentically, to love yourself more fully, to determine and celebrate the identities that best fit your individual self, I would be so happy to help you!
If you feel safe and valued in ways that aren’t necessarily reflected in our media and culture, I am here to assure you that your ways of feeling and sharing love are valid and important.
If you are struggling to feel seen and heard, or to feel love and pleasure in a relationship with one or more adults, there are tools we can use to build understanding and trust with ourselves and our partners!”
